Heritage corridor is a heritage preservation approach to the macro-scale cultural landscape in the USA. The paper illustrates the preservation and sustainable utilization approach from natural resources preservation, historical and cultural resources preservation, trails system construction, interpretation system construction, marketing approach and management system of the Erie canal heritage corridor , with the use for reference to the China grand canal’s preservation and management. |
