摘　要：

街区除了承载行人和车辆的通行功能之外，做为城市空间的重要组成部分，应具有更加多样化的功能和内容。本文总结了新城市主义的规划思想，进而探讨了国外可持续性街区（Sustainable Streets）的设计理念、研究进展及实践经验，最后结合现存问题对我国街区建设提出建议。

Abstract：

Streets play a very important role in city, besides the function of passing for pedestrian and vehicles, which should have more various functions. In this article, we summed up the main ideas about New Urbanism firstly.
Then we analyzed the design concept, research process and practical experiences of sustainable streets in foreign countries. Lastly, the essay discussed the existing problems of streets in China and made some suggestions for the construction of sustainable streets.
